Visit Disneyland Resort: MagicBand+

Not too many people had  MagicBand+  at Disneyland Resort, from what I noticed, but that didn't stop us from getting them.   You can use the MagicBand+ to scan into the entry gates or scan your Lightning Lane passes.  No need to take out your phone and open up the Disneyland app or your photos app for a screenshot of your admission ticket or Lightning Lane pass.  It's easy to sync the MagicBand+ to everyone in your party through the Disneyland app. It's rechargeable, and one full charge is supposed to last 1-3 days, but we'd charge them at the end of each night. Another fun thing about the MagicBand+ is that it'll blink and flash in all sorts of colors depending on where you are, whether at certain rides or shows.  You can also use to link PhotoPass photos and other experiences. It's totally not a necessary thing to have, but it's a nice-to-have for the convenience.   One thing I did read prior to getting them is that they have a tende...

Visit Anaheim: Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen - Downtown Disney

Whenever we dine at Downtown Disney we usually dine at the same place, but on this trip we decided to try somewhere different - Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen.

We were seated in the very cool Flambeaux Room, and our server, Ryan, was really great.

We started off with the Southern Garlic Cheese Bread, and it was sooooo good.  It was very flavorful, and I honestly think I could've eaten the entire plate myself.

The kids ordered from the Kids Menu, and all meals begin with a plate of Celery & Carrot Sticks with Ranch Dressing.

DS1 ordered the Cheese & Macaroni with a side of Fresh Fruit.
DS2 ordered the Corn Flake Crusted Chicken with Fries.  I have to admit - these were some of the best-looking and best-tasting chicken strips DS2 ever ordered!

I ordered the Cajun Turkey Club Sandwich, which came with a Jalapeno-Bacon Potato Salad.  I thought everything would have a little kick to it, but the sandwich and the potato salad was not spicy at all, although everything was really good.
DH had the Louisiana Sauteed Seafood Salad. He really liked it.

The kids meals come with dessert - an Ice Cream Sundae.  It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, which was great since I could eat some too!

Overall it was a really nice lunch, and I would love to visit again when they have some live music playing!
