Visit Disneyland Resort: MagicBand+

Not too many people had  MagicBand+  at Disneyland Resort, from what I noticed, but that didn't stop us from getting them.   You can use the MagicBand+ to scan into the entry gates or scan your Lightning Lane passes.  No need to take out your phone and open up the Disneyland app or your photos app for a screenshot of your admission ticket or Lightning Lane pass.  It's easy to sync the MagicBand+ to everyone in your party through the Disneyland app. It's rechargeable, and one full charge is supposed to last 1-3 days, but we'd charge them at the end of each night. Another fun thing about the MagicBand+ is that it'll blink and flash in all sorts of colors depending on where you are, whether at certain rides or shows.  You can also use to link PhotoPass photos and other experiences. It's totally not a necessary thing to have, but it's a nice-to-have for the convenience.   One thing I did read prior to getting them is that they have a tende...

Hawaiian Airlines - Service and In-Flight Dining

For our trip to Seattle, we flew on Hawaiian Airlines (HA).

Although our outbound trip was delayed for over an hour (I thought it was a bit odd how no HA agents communicated with the passengers that the flight was going to be delayed, and instead it was the agriculture inspector who kept passengers informed), the service on board was EXCELLENT!  The in-flight crew was friendly and efficient.

As for dining, we had a Pau Hana Snack Mix, and for dinner we had a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Manapua with Garlic, Ginger & Peas (it was pretty tasty!), along with a salad and some chocolate-covered macadamia nuts.

As for our return, I thought the Seattle agents and management staff were some of the friendliest people I've encountered at any airport.

Despite full flights and passengers, including several non-revs, asking numerous questions, they were always very pleasant and helpful.

Our meal on board was a Fresh Fruit Tray, Cheese and Crackers, and a chocolate-covered macadamia nut.

Almost everyone in our family only ate the cheese and crackers.
Later on in the flight we were also served a bag of chips.
Overall it was a great trip on Hawaiian Airlines, and can't wait for the next one!
