Visit Disneyland Resort: MagicBand+

  Not too many people had  MagicBand+  at Disneyland Resort, from what I noticed, but that didn't stop us from getting them.   You can use the MagicBand+ to scan into the entry gates or scan your Lightning Lane passes.  No need to take out your phone and open up the Disneyland app or your photos app for a screenshot of your admission ticket or Lightning Lane pass.  It's easy to sync the MagicBand+ to everyone in your party through the Disneyland app. It's rechargeable, and one full charge is supposed to last 1-3 days, but we'd charge them at the end of each night. Another fun thing about the MagicBand+ is that it'll blink and flash in all sorts of colors depending on where you are, whether at certain rides or shows.  You can also use to link PhotoPass photos and other experiences. Jaipur Literature Festival Opens Its Doors in 42 days

The 9th ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, the world’s largest free literary festival, demonstrates its global importance hosting the world’s leading writers and thinkers. The festival runs from Thursday 21st – Monday 25th January 2016 in the stunning historic setting of The Diggi Palace Hotel in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The 2016 Festival embraces and explores globally vital issues such as migration, privacy and navigating change, bringing together a range of expertise and perspectives on stage throughout the five days.

Of the 222 already announced, headline names set to appear at the festival this year include the legendary Margaret Atwood, novelist, literary critic and environmental activist; Ruskin Bond, beloved to generations of Indian readers; Steve McCurry one of the world's greatest living photographers; controversial Harvard historian Niall Ferguson and Britain’s national treasure Stephen Fry. American contribution includes Dexter Filkin, Armistead Maupin, Casey Schwartz and Dennis Nurkse.

Whilst at the Festival, located in the heart of India’s biggest state, enjoy a life-changing opportunity to experience the vast beauty of Rajasthan - ‘Land of Kings’: its varied cuisine, striking wildlife and, most importantly, incredibly rich heritage and culture, including beautiful folk music, various religious festivals and inspiring architecture. The Festival is a New Year’s treat for both body and mind!
