The venerable
Old Farmer’s Almanac has announced its weeklong Garden-to-Table Experience
. Running from June 20-25, 2016, this once-in-a-lifetime tour is perfect for
experienced horticulturalists, farm-to-table foodies, or simply anyone who enjoys great gardens and delicious food.
Starting in Pennsylvania and continuing
into Delaware and eventually New York, the Garden-to-Table Experience
features 10 of the Northeast’s
most revered gardens, farms, and arboretums. These will serve as a
backdrop to culinary adventures with gourmet food prepared by
award-winning chefs and restaurants that highlight the connection
between the food we enjoy and where it comes from.
