Visit San Diego: Mr. Moto Pizza

Mr. Moto Pizza is a Cali chain that serves up all sorts of pizzas, as well as stuffed knots. I decided to grab a Pepperoni Jalapeno Ranch stuffed knot.   At just $4, it was huge, and it was a meal in itself. It was essentially like a pizza, but stuffed in a garlic knot. Visit Big Island: Big Island Meadery

Just 20 minutes away from ITO airport, you'll find the Big Island Meadery, where you can sample mead (honey wine) or award-winning honeys, have a slushie and small bites, and buy locally-made products (including the honey).

I'm not a huge drinker, but I did try a mead and mead slushie, and I did a honey sampling as well.



They offer a nice variety of mead flavors infused with fruits and spices.
I was surprised with the various flavors of honey that are influenced by the nectars the bees source.  

The owners of Big Island Meadery are so knowledgeable and friendly - they will gladly answer any questions and help you pick out the right honey to buy or mead to try based on your preferences.
