Visit San Diego: Mr. Moto Pizza

Mr. Moto Pizza is a Cali chain that serves up all sorts of pizzas, as well as stuffed knots. I decided to grab a Pepperoni Jalapeno Ranch stuffed knot.   At just $4, it was huge, and it was a meal in itself. It was essentially like a pizza, but stuffed in a garlic knot. Definitely hope to try the pizzas one day! Mr. Moto Pizza 879 W Harbor Dr San Diego, CA 92101

Visit Osaka: SAKImoto Bakery

One of my favorite Google Map searches is "bakery near me," and SAKImoto Bakery was one that popped up near our hotel in Osaka. It didn't open until 10am, however, and we were usually out exploring before then and didn't return until after they closed, or if it was still during operating hours when we returned to the hotel, I was too tired to walk the bakery.

Finally, one day I was able to make it there just after opening as we stayed near the hotel to shop one morning.

SAKImoto Bakery is known for their breads, which you can reserve online.

On our visit, we got:

Curry Naan
Loved the layers of flavor and the nice spiciness!
Chocolate Chip Cookies
I thought the cookies were just okay.
Chocolate Croissant

PABLOmini Cheese Tart
I love cheese tarts, and they offer PABLOmini Cheese Tarts at the bakery.  So delicious!

PABLOmini Creme Brulee Cheese Tart
The Creme Brulee Cheese Tart was a little too sweet for my taste buds.
Baked Cheese Curry Bread

The first, main location is in Namba, Osaka (which we went to).  There are several other locations, and they even have a coffee shop and cafe near the Namba location.

Definitely check out SAKImoto Bakery if you love Japanese bakeries.  Maybe next time I'll be able to dine it at the cafe!
